A Day With Grandpa!!!!

Today was "Take you kid to work day" so my dad invited the kids and I down to his work to see his office and to go to lunch. We really had a great time today and it was great to spend time with him. We went to a little coffee shop where they sell sandwiches and we ate outside under the trees. The kids were so excited to be in downtown Salt Lake and they kept saying, "there are so many people" and "it is so busy down here." I guess it has been a while since we have taken them down town.
After lunch grandpa took the kids to a pastry shop and let them pick out their own treat. They came in these little boxes and the kids thought that was so cool. Let me tell you what, those were some dang good treats!!!!
Last but not least, we saw where grandpa works and saw his big work truck. Cooper loved the truck and Kendall loved sitting in Grandpa's office chair and looking at pictures of herself. It was a great day and I am glad we got to spend time with him. Thank you Dad. We love you!!!!

Cooper and the Tooth Fairy

On March 28th, my baby lost his first tooth. It had been loose for about a week and on that day, he took a bite of pizza and it fell out. He was kind of freaked out at first and didn't know what to do, but then we said the Tooth Fairy would come and he got all excited.
That night we cleaned up the tooth and put it under his pillow. In the middle of the night he woke up very upset and when I went into his room, he was mad that his money hadn't stayed under his pillow. I had to explain to him that it doesn't have to stay there and that it was okay to put it on his shelf. He was content with that answer and went back to sleep. It was so cute to see him get so excited. Now Kendall tells us all the time that she has a loose tooth. She wants to be just like her big brother.

The Easter Extravaganza Begins!!!

Our Easter weekend began at my mom's house for an Easter Extravaganza!!! My mom and Aunt Kellie put the whole thing together, and they did an awsome job.


Before the kids could participate in the
Easter Egg Hunt, they had to wear ears or flowers.


We had to do the Eater Egg hunt in the basement
because of the weather. Keep in mind that all
these treasures are for 4 little kids. Crazy!!!


After the hunt was over, the games and fun
began. The kids began by playing the "balance
the egg" game.

Easter Morning!!!

We kept our Easter morning pretty simple this year and the kids still seemed to have tons of fun. The Easter Bunny hid eggs for them to find and the totally loved it.

Easter Brunch!!!

After our Easter morning, we went to my Dad and Laurie's for a yummy Easter brunch and an Easter Egg Hunt. The kids had so much fun and were so excited to gather up the eggs.

Our Last Easter Stop!!!

Our last stop of the day was Ted's family Easter party. We ate dinner, had an Easter Egg Hunt, decorated marshmallow eggs, and had birthday cake and icecream to celebrate Paige and Brock's birthdays. To say the least, we had a very busy day, but we had a lot of fun. Cooper kept saying, "Isn't this a good day?" I love to hear him say that. It makes me so happy to know my kids are happy.
