The Cookie Monsters!!!!

This is what happens when the kids can no longer wait for mommy and daddy to get their treat.

They decide to get the cookies out themselves, open a brand new package and divide it amongst the two of them. They haven't ever done anything like this before, so I had to take a picture. They thought they were in trouble at first. I guess I am just a mean mommy!!!

4th of July Weekend

We had a lot of fun this weekend and now I am totally worn out. It was worth it, though, because it was good to see the kids having such a good time. Thursday Ted only worked half day and then we went to Lagoon again (we had bounce back passes). Once more we got rained out again. Seriously, what are the odds that the two times we go to Lagoon in one summer we get rained out.

Friday weworked in the yard and house and when we were finished, the kids and Ted rewarded themselves with some slip-n-slide fun. It made me so happy to see all of them having so much fun.

Cooper is totally loving the
water this year.

swimsuit.

He is getting more brave
in the water.

Last year Kendall wouldn't
even touch this thing.

On Saturday we took the kids to a parade for the first time. They had a lot of fun watching everything go by and trying to get the candy. The best part for Cooper was that we ran into Ted's brother Brad and his family. Saturday night we went to our friend Jeremy and Christina's house for dinner, snowcones and fireworks. We had a lot of fun over there just hanging out and watching the kids play. It was a good way to end the holiday.

There Is Still Life At the Lucas Home

I know it has been a really long time since I have posted anything, so I thought I should do it while I have a few minutes. Things have been really crazy over the last few months. We have been putting a ton of work into our yard, Cooper had T-ball, we had a couple of birthdays, swim lessons, and last but not least, I haven't had the easiest pregnancy. Anyway, I thought I would start with the most recent things and work my way back. If I keep feeling okay, I will try to post some more of what we have been up to.

Last but not least, here is a picture to show you how huge I am getting. Luckily I only have about 6 weeks left.

This picture was taken 1 week ago (33 weeks)

Below are some of the things that have been going on.

My Baby Turned 3

On June 21st, my baby turned 3 years old. I can't believe how fast time goes by and how big she has gotten. They grow up so fast. Here is a picture of then and now. I think she is such a beautiful little girl.

These peaceful times have ended.

Now we have a vibrant little girl!!!

**********************************************************************
Kendall wanted to badly to have a little girly party and she kept telling me she was going to have a tea party with her friends, so how could I turn her down?

We invited Brianna and Molly from our neighborhood
and had little tea sandwiches, fruit kabobs, and heart
shaped cheese.

What would a girl party be without getting your
toe nails painted? They had so much fun.

This is what Kendall does when she is trying
not to smile.

****************************************************************
This year we had Kendall's party at my mom's house because I wasn't sure where I would be with the pregnancy. It worked out really well because there is no way I could have gotten my house ready. Thank you Mom!!!!

Kendall holding her new beanie baby from Grandma
& Grandpa Great. Those are her favorite.

Isn't she the cutest thing you have ever seen?

Kendall wanted a Tinkerbell party and so she
cute a cute Tinkerbell cake.

Gotta love big kisses from you little ones!!!!!

******************************************************************
This year Kendall's birthday was on Father's Day, so when she came downstairs and saw that Ted had a present in a princess bag (it was all I could find at the last minute) she was not happy. Anyways, this was Ted's Father's Day present.

She quickly got over it when she saw what was
in the bag.

the presents.

Our little Diva in her new monkey slippers.
Aren't they so stinkin' cute?

Kendall's Birthday!!!!

On Kendall's birthday, we went up to Grandma & Grandpa Lucas' house to roast marshmallows out side and have cake and ice cream. Can we say sugar?

This is how my child's birthday cake looks when
I am not feeling well and pregnant. We'll shoot
for something better next year.

The family roasting marshmallows. Can you
believe his parents didn't want a marshmallow?

Kendall and I were the only one who had smores.
So much for that idea. We still had fun, though.

Lagoon!!!

Last Friday were able to go to Lagoon thanks to my sweet Aunt Kellie. She had bought some discount tickets and realized that she wouldn't be using them, so she was kind enough to let us have them. The kids had a blast. We had to break them in on the little and slow rides, but once Cooper got the hang of it, there was no stopping him.

They thought they were so cool driving all
by themselves.

Kendall didn't know what to think of this ride.
She almost started crying at one point.

This is the weather we got stick in while were were there.
Luckily we were sitting on a bench underneath an awning.

We thought the rain was done, so we walked to Pioneer Village
and got soaked. This is a pic. of Kendall with a full mouth
of cotton candy. Yum! Yum!

The weather cleared up and most of the people
went home, so we stayed until closing. This is
Cooper and Ted riding the Dino Ride!! Cooper
had such a riot.

Trip to Hurricane!!!

Last weekend we went down to Hurricane for a little get away. Some of Ted's friends wanted to go mountain biking, so we decided to make it a family event. One of our friend's uncles let us borrow his house for next to nothing, and it worked out great. We all had a ton of fun. The guys went mountain biking twice, we went shopping at the St. George outlets, went out to eat, and the girls went to see a chic flick. It felt really good to get away for a few days.

Here is the caravan before we left.

The kids did so well in the car. Ted and I
were very amazed.

We had a 12 hour round trip drive and the
kids only asked to watch one movie on the
way home.

Ted taking in the scenery on his mountain
biking trip.

We got a deal on the house and it was amazing.
This is the family room.

This was our master bedroom. It was so
awesome.

This little cubby was in our bedroom and the
kids absolutely loved it. It was so cute!!!
We had so much fun and just want to thank Marcus and Jessica for inviting us.
