Dirty Dash Weekend

Back in June some of our friends and Ted ran the Dirty Dash up at Soldier Hollow.  We did this last year and thought that it was a fun tradition to carry on.  Ted was the photographer last year and so we swapped places so that he could participate.

The clan before they get down and dirty.

Our cute little muddy free family.

Ted rolling around in the mud.

The mud crawl.  You can't tell, but Ted is in the back
crawling with our friend Elisha ahead of him.

He just couldn't keep his feet under him.

He was looking for hugs, but had no takers.

Scott and Elisha jumping in.

Ted going in the mud pit.

Victory has been met!!  He finished in one peace.

Peace out!

The dirty clan.
After the race, our friends Molly and Jason were kind
enough to invite us all to their cabin just down the road.  The kids
loved the swing.  Especially Kendall.  She has never met a swing
she didn't like.

Morgan loved roaming around the yard

Our friend Scott on stilts.  I was pretty impressed.

Baseball

Cooper played baseball again this year and he had a lot of fun.  He knew a couple of kids from his school and I think that really helped him be a little more outgoing.  He was so proud of himself with how well he did this year and we are proud of him too.

I thought this picture of Cooper was cute.  My little man
is growing up.
Cooper looks so serious and in the moment.  I love it.
My cute, sweet little boy.

Better Late Than Never

The last few months we have had a lot going on and I haven't been able to post the kid's last few days of school.  Kendall's class put on a little program where they sang songs and received their diplomas and it was really stinking cute!!
Kendall waiting for the program to begin.

This picture is so Kendall.  I little bit of attitude and a lot cute.

Kendall receiving her diploma.
Is it a toy?... I think so.

Kendall and I are so sad she is going to 1st grade.  She is getting so big!

Kendall and her teacher Mrs. Robbins.

Cooper's class did a Little House on the Prairie day and they had to dress up on their favorite character.  Cooper chose Pa and he had a fun filled day of pioneer activities.

Mrs. John was the most amazing teacher and helped Cooper to blossom.
I was able to volunteer Cooper's class this year and it was a lot of fun.

Kendall's Birthday

My little girl turned 6 this year and  I can't believe that she is going into 1st grade in the fall!!  She is such a sweet and happy little girl who is always smiling and we love her very much!!!

I decided this year to combine both girl's family party to make it a little easier on me.
Here we are trying to organize their presents.
The girls were so excited to get presents and didn't care that they had to share the day.
Morgan was so excited over this card that she got.  It sang and danced.

This is Kendall on her birthday opening her presents from mom and dad.
Kendall's favorite present from us was her paints.  She has been wanting new paints
for a while, and she had to paint something right away.
Kendall's birthday cake.  I know, it's the same cake from the day before,
but things have been kind of crazy, so that's what she got. :)

Kendall then had a friend birthday party the next day where they played in the water.
The girls eating lunch and getting some sun.
The clan crowding around for presents.

Kendall and her unforgettable smile.  Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!!

The Big Birthday Present

Nana and Papa spoiled the kids this year.  They decided to buy a tramp for the kids and used Kendall and Morgan's birthday as an excuse. :) The kids are loving it and it is so nice for them to have something fun outside to play on.  We didn't get a picture of it, but it has a net on it to keep all the kiddos from falling off.  This has been nice for Morgan, because then I don't have to keep my eyes on her every second.  Being who she is, though, she has found her way out of the hole when the net isn't zipped up.
