Easter

Easter was a lot fun for everyone this year and I think the kids really enjoyed going and visiting all of the family.
On Easter, we went to Brad and Kalee's for an Easter dinner and a hunt.
These are the Easter hunters.
Morgan just had to hunt in a Cinderella dress.
Ted and I on Easter morning.
The kids after they have opened their goodies.
After church, we headed to my Dad and Laurie's.  This is
Grandpa Benstog teaching Morgan how to blow bubbles.
Cooper, Kendall, Morgan, and Mason after another egg hunt.
Let me tell ya.  They love all of the hunting.
The kids looking at their Easter buckets from Grandma and Grandpa.
My mom and Boyd had their annual Easter egg hunt on Saturday.
This is my aunt Kellie, cousin Bri, Mom, me, and Ayva all
Easter egg hunted out.
Ted had to get a picture of us with my mom and
all of the loot.  It seriously looked like Christmas.
The kids running to grab their goodies.
Me helping the girls get candy.  They were a little
overwhelmed by all of the stuff that they were leaving
all the chocolate behind!!!  How dare them!!!
Cooper and all his goodies.
It was a very busy weekend, but we all had a lot of fun.

In March, we had the opportunity to go with some friends to Hurricane for the weekend. We've done it before and every time we go we have a blast. The guys went mountain biking one day and then the girls got to go see a chic flick. The next day we went on a short (and when I say short, I mean short) hike, then went to play at the park in the fountains and then went shopping at the outlets. Doesn't get better than that.

Us on our extremely strenuous hike. The kids had so much fun because they could do it all by themselves and they had to climb the rocks a little bit.

Cooper and Kendall were one of the first to reach the cave and they were so proud of themselves.

Ted and I in the cave.

Me trying to scale the rocks.

Our little family.

Morgan absolutely loved riding in the pack. She was so happy.

The group of friends. Aren't we so cute?

Kendall and Morgan in the fountains at the park.

Morgan loved running through the fountains.

They had four 4-wheelers at the house and a little field to drive in. The kids had a blast!!! We were all covered in a bronze dust at the end, but it was well worth it.

Morgan would get nervous on the 4-wheeler and then ask us to go slow.

Puppy Time!!

Nana and Papa's little dog had puppies, and so I took the kids to see them when they were only a week old. Let me tell you what, they absolutely loved it!!!!! They wanted to take one home, but being the mean mom that I am, I said no.

Cooper's School Project

Cooper had to do a report on an animal of his choice and then make a habitat for it. He chose an orangutan and he came up with the idea for his habitat all by himself, and did 95% of the work and creating. I was very proud of him. He also had to give his report in front of his class and all the parents and he did awesome!!! We are very proud of you, Coop!!!

Couples Get Away!!!

We were asked to go up to our friends cabin for the weekend back in February and it was a blast!!! We went tubing at night, hiking in the snow, and just hung out with out kids. What could be better than that.

We went on a hike because we couldn't get snow shoes, but it turned out to be a ton of fun. Ted decided to put me on his shoulders........

....then he fell straight back into the snow.

Our group at the top of the hill.

Cute little love birds taking a rest.

Some of the people in our group. The most important part,
we have a bag of M&Ms.

No one thought to bring a backpack for water or snacks, but Chelsea was armed and ready with her daughter's princess backpack. It is quite stylish.

Thanks Sants for inviting us. It was a lot of fun.

Cooper's Birthday

For Coop's birthday, we let him open two gifts in the morning and the rest that evening. That night we just ate dinner at home, open gifts, and had dessert.

One of his gifts was tickets to a Jazz game. He was very excited.

Ted and Cooper at the Jazz game. They had a ton of fun
and Coop was pretty tuckered out the next day because the
game didn't start until 8:30. Oh well.

Cooper's Baptism

Cooper got baptizeed on February 4th, and it was a wonderful day. Cooper was just beaming all day and was so excited to be baptized, and I was overwhelmed at the love and support that we received that day. We had 50 people come to show their love and support that day and it really meant a lot to us. Thank you!!!
Cooper's baptism turned out great! Ted did a great job of focusing the talk on Cooper, and the baptism went smooth as well. I am so thankful that Ted is a worthy priesthood holder and could perform these ordinances.
