It's all over!!!

Friday Cooper had his tonsils out and it was a decision that we made last minute on Thursday afternoon. We weren't quite sure about getting his tonsils out or when we should do it, so I called his doctor on Thursday and he assured me that it was something that needed to be done, so we just went for it. I was so worried about how he would feel afterward and he did amazing. The nurses were so surprised how well he did while at the hospital because he didn't even cry once, and once we got home, he never complained of his throat hurting. He has been pretty tired and whiny, but that is to be expected, right? When it is all said and done, I am glad we got his tonsils out. Friday afternoon I asked Cooper if his throat hurt and he said, "Nope, it feels all better now, but it does feel empty." That made me realize that we made the right decision. Especially that he said this just hours after his surgery.
