Every night when we put Kendall to bed we have to tell her that there are no monsters in her room, just angels. It was getting to the point that every night she would cry and say there were monsters in her room, so I decided to tell her that there are angels watching over her (which I am sure is true. Who wouldn't want to watch over a sweet, little girl). Anyway, one night before bed we were going through the routine and this is how our conversation played out:
Me: "Kendall, go to sleep. There are no monsters, just angels."
Kendall: "Ya, no monsters. Just angels. Mama, you an angel too."
That just melted my heart. I thought that was so sweet. She now tells Ted that I am an angel every time her puts her to bed. It makes me laugh that he is never the angel, just me.
