A few weeks ago, we were able to do our annual trip up to Snowbird. As usual, everyone had a blast and the kids are already looking forward to next year.
Waiting in the hall for our room to be ready.
You can't tell, but Kendall is sitting on a pile of
stuff for the week and so is Morgan. We can never seem to pack light.
Exploring Snowbird on our first night.
Me trying to be a kid again and slide down the pole.
Ted took this picture of Kendall and I thought it was really cute.
Morgan was posing for the camera, so we girls decided to as well.
Ted trying to be a kid again. This is what he did
growing up at Snowbird.
Daddy and the girls in the pool.
Coop with his cousins Cameron and Skyler.
Best buds swimming together.
Ted throwing Kendall in the air. Her face was priceless.
Coop was towing Morgan around on his back. So cute!!
Ted decided to take me and Cooper on a hike to the tram and Cooper
did awesome. It was about 5 miles and a 3,000 elevation climb.
Cooper pointing to where we were headed. We were all
the way at the bottom of that map.
I really enjoyed having time to just chat with Cooper. He is
such a good little boy. He told me that if he made it half way,
he would just keep going because he would have to turn around
and walk back anyway. Such a smart boy.
Ted and me taking a rest.
Cooper and Ted taking a much deserved break.
You can't tell from the picture, but both of the trams are in the
background. The boys thought that was pretty cool.
We are almost there. I swear Cooper did better than me. Towards
the end he would stop and talk and I was totally fine with that. :)
We did it!!! My 8 year old son hiked to the tram!!! He was the
second of 16 grandkids to do it and he is one of the youngest!!! Way to go Coop!!!
Our well deserved ride down the mountain.
The operator of the tram was so cute and told us he wanted to get
a cool picture for us. Too bad you can't really see Cooper.
Ted told Cooper that if he made it to the tram, he would carry him
back to the condo.
Since the girls had been in the condo all morning with their cousins,
we decided to go swimming. Ted loves throwing the kids in the
water and they love it just as much.
Morgan just chilling in the sun.
Morgan on Grandpa's lap. We pushed him over to the Snowbird
center to ride the tram.
Grandpa, Casey, and the kids. Casey watched the girls while
we went on our hike. Thanks Casey!!!
Our annual family picture at the top of the tram.
I love this picture of Ted and his dad. I think it is so sweet.
We hiked a little ways down from the tram to go through the ski
tunnel and ride the chairlift down.
Our family and Frank at the end of the tunnel. It's pretty cool
in there. Literally and figuratively.
As always, we had to go mining for rocks to see what treasures
the kids could collect.
Even the big kids got in on it.
