Ted's birthday was the day after Morgan's surgery, so it was very low key. Cooper had a baseball game that Ted took him to while I stayed home and cooked him steak and mashed potatoes. We then went outside on the tramp and opened his presents. This is the kids all holding their gifts to Dad. Morgan got gum, Kendall got orange sticks, and Coop got him a hat. I love how the gifts got more expensive with their age. It just goes to show how their little minds work and what they are capable of thinking would be a great gift for their dad. Too cute!!!
Not the greatest picture, but I got Ted a shock proof, sand proof, waterproof camera
for his backpacking trip he is going on in June. He has ruined 2 or 3 of our cameras
trying to get "cool" pictures, so I'm hoping this can stand up to the beating it will get.
We then headed in for cupcakes and ice cream and sent the kids off to bed.
Do we know how to party or what?
Cooper and Kendall are both doing soccer this year. Here is Coop
practicing before his game.
Kendall is on the same team as her best friend Molly (the goalie) and
she loves that. She is always out there running with a smile. That is until
she gets tired and then starts to cry because she wants a break.
At her last soccer game, somebody bumped into her mouth with their
head and knocked out her loose tooth. She pulled it out and told the ref
and tried to hand her the tooth. The teenage ref hurried and pointed to her coach.
She ran over to her coach, told him what happened, and put the tooth in his hand.
I was dying!!!!! We were all laughing on the sideline and I ran over as fast
as I could, apologized to the coach, and got her cleaned up. Poor coach!!
I'm sure he was thinking that this wasn't what he signed up for.
