Today my daughter Kendall was the one that was teaching me a valuable lesson and it was so stinkin' adorable!!! I had Bunco at my house and had a lot of things that I needed to get ready today and I was feeling a little stressed out. I was trying a new drink, so I thought that I should make it early to make sure it tasted okay. It consisted of two different frozen juices and a bottle of Sprite. As I was pouring the sprite into the pitcher, the drink started to foam quite a bit and I was feeling a little impatient as I tried to pour more in and it started to overflow. This is how our conversation went:
Kendall: "Mom, it's okay. You just need to be patient."
Mom: "I do?"
Kendall: "Yup. It's like when I wash my hands and use lots of soap and it makes lots of bubbles in the sink. If I am patient, when I come back they are all gone." (Big smile on her face).
Mom: "That sounds like a good idea. Maybe we should try it."
Kendall: "Yup!!" (With an even bigger smile on her face).
How cute is that? They never cease to amaze you.
